Mt. Fuji Off-Season Access
Although official climing season ends in August, the Fuji-Subaru Line (tollway), which runs up to the 5th station stays open as conditions permit, and buses may be available year round from Fujisan Station to the 5th station.

After September, services at the Fuji Subaru Line 5th station are sparse, although some shops and restaurants may stay open through the Autumn Leaves season (early November).

Mountain Huts above the 5th station are closed after early September every year.

2023 Winter Season Buses (From October 1st 2023)

Buses from Fujisan Station and Kawaguchiko Station are operated by the Fujikyu Bus Company. See bus schedule below.

In the case that the Fuji Subaru Line is closed due to snow, all bus services will be suspended.
In the case that the Fuji Subaru Line is closed above the 4th station, buses will run only up to the 4th station.
(The Fuji Subaru Line generally closes in most cases of snowfall/bad weather during the winter)
